Free People Mini Dresses and What’s Underneath

Today I’m kicking off the week by sharing some of my favorite Free People Mini Dresses and what’s underneath all of my mini dresses…a Summer essential in my book 😉 Of the six Free People dresses pictured below, I’ve bought and love 3 of them already, haha! The one I’m wearing in the pic is the top left one below, in white. If you click on the image, however, you can shop for it in either color…which goes for most of these dresses. Click on them to see the other available colors. For instance I bought the purple one in black (which btw you could easily throw on with leggings and booties and wear well into the Fall) and the black one in a pale blue color (

Anyway, Free People always has the cutest mini dresses and in such a huge variety of colors and styles. You can find anything from a casual beach cover mini to a sexy, date night mini…and everything in between! The one I have on is definitely on the slightly dressier side, but I couldn’t resist those vibrant colors and the pretty straps in back. Check them out below…don’t you love!? A few years back I was all about long, flowy maxis, but the past couple summers, I love the minis for some funky style, tan legs, and they’re easier to play with my kids in 😉 It’s hard playing kick ball or football tripping all over the place in a long maxi!

Now you might be wondering how on Earth I can manage running around with my kids in minis? Well the title is “Free People Mini Dresses and What’s Underneath,” amiright!? What’s underneath changed my life a couple of summers back. Every gal out there must own at least one pair of Peach Company’s boy shorts to wear underneath short summer dresses…a $20 life saver – I throw these boy shorts on under anything short and hit the scooters, beach, ball field, you name it…without worry. Big gust of wind? No worries…my a** is tucked safely away behind some cute Peach boy shorts, haha! Snag a pair and you’ll never have to worry about flashing helpless bystanders again 😉

Happy Shopping!
